BAKU, Azerbaijan, December 19. Türkiye saw sales of 1,927 real estate properties to Iranian citizens from January through November 2024, 2,140 fewer than the same period last year.
Data obtained by Trend from the Turkish General Directorate of Land Registry and Cadastre (GDLRC) shows that Iranian citizens bought 200 real estate properties in the country this November, marking a decrease of 34 properties from last November.
Totally, 153,140 apartments were sold in Türkiye in November 2024, up 63.6 percent year-on-year.
During 11 months of this year, 1.25 million apartments were sold in Türkiye, which is 16.4 percent more than in the same period of 2023.
However, 1,272 apartments were sold to foreign nationals in Türkiye in November 2024, which is 50.3 percent less than in the same month of 2023.
Additionally, foreigners purchased 21,363 apartments in Türkiye from January through November of the current year, 35.1 percent less than in the same period last year.
