BAKU, Azerbaijan, January 9. Türkiye’s exports of electrical equipment to Azerbaijan from January through December 2024 declined by 14.2 percent compared to the same period last year, totaling $225.8 million, according to the Turkish Ministry of Trade, Trend reports.
"Türkiye’s electrical equipment exports to Azerbaijan in December 2024 declined by 34.6 percent year-on-year, reaching $20.9 million," the ministry statement said.
For the broader market, Türkiye’s global electrical equipment exports for January-December 2024 rose by 2.9 percent from the previous year, totaling $16.6 billion.
"Türkiye exported electrical equipment valued at $1.4 billion in December 2024, marking a 3.3 percent increase from December 2023," the ministry statement said.
Over the past 12 months (from December 2023 through December 2024), Türkiye’s electrical equipment exports amounted to $16.6 billion.
