BAKU, Azerbaijan, May 31. Azerbaijan's National Depository Center (NDC) aims to increase the number of individual deposit accounts to around 40,000 this year and reach 50,000 by 2026, Trend reports.
The 2024-2026 Development Strategy report shows that the NDC plans to boost its digitalization level to seventy percent this year and further elevate it to 85 percent by the mid-2020s. Additionally, the organization expects the infrastructure for transaction processing to handle an average of 5,000 operations per month this year, expanding to twenty-five thousand by 2026.
