The value of guarantees provided by the Iran’s Bank of Industry and Mine (BIM) increased by 112 percent during the first 7 months of the current Iranian year (March 20-October 21, 2020), compared to the same period of the last Iranian year, the Head of Board of the BIM, Asghar Paktinat said, Trend reports citing the banks official website.
The head emphasized that the Bank of Industry and Mine provided guarantees worth 22.3 trillion rials (about $532 million) during the reporting period. While in the same period last Iranian year, 10.5 trillion rials (about $251 million) worth of guarantees were provided by the BIM.
Paktinat added that the BIM provided a total about 19 trillion rials (about $452 million) worth of guarantees in the last Iranian year (from March 21, 2019 to March 20, 2020).
“The providing of this amount of guarantees reflects the confidence to the customers,” he said.
