TASHKENT, Uzbekistan, May 7. U.S.-based Sayat LLC plans to implement a promising investment project in the Fergana region of Uzbekistan to generate alternative thermal energy through the recycling of medical waste, Trend reports, citing the regional government.

The implementation of the project was discussed during a meeting between Khairullo Bozorov, the regional governor, and Stanislav Kushnir, the founder of Sayat LLC.

In the second phase of the project, which will span from 2026 to 2030, similar facilities are planned to be launched in other regions of the republic. This investment project, planned for implementation jointly with Sayat Green, will establish environmentally safe recycling of medical waste and the production of thermal energy from it.

During the meeting, organizational and technical issues related to the project's implementation were discussed. The regional governor noted the environmental significance of the project and expressed his readiness to fully support it. In this regard, responsible organizations were instructed to provide the necessary assistance to investors during the implementation process.

The parties agreed to accelerate joint work and the practical implementation of the project.

Sayat LLC specializes in the construction of plants for generating alternative thermal energy from medical waste. Based on the Presidential Decree "On measures to implement the investment project 'Generation of Alternative Thermal Energy from Medical Waste,'" modern plants are currently under construction at medical facilities in the Tashkent, Samarkand, and Bukhara regions.
