TASHKENT, Uzbekistan, May 7. Uzbekistan's Entrepreneurship Development Company JSC and the Korea Credit Guarantee Fund (KODIT) signed a Memorandum of Cooperation in financial support systems, Trend reports via Uzbek Ministry of Economy.

The document was finalized during a meeting between the Deputy Minister of Economy and Finance of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Umid Abidkhadjayev, and the Chairman of KODIT, Kang Sung Jun.

The discussions focused on the second stage of a phased cooperation and knowledge exchange program between the two organizations.

The primary purpose of the meeting was to study methods for improving the financial support system for business entities in Uzbekistan based on international best practices.

Particular attention was paid to increasing the effectiveness of guarantee instruments, the digitalization of internal processes, and creating favorable conditions for the development of innovative startups.
