The Baku 2015 European Games is organized at the highest level, Anastasia Maximova, a member of the Russian national rhythmic gymnastics team, told Trend June 17.
Russia's athletes won on June 17 the gold medal in the rhythmic gymnastics all-around group event at the Baku 2015 European Games.
"All the competitions are very interesting, and the opening ceremony was very beautiful," said Maximova. "We like everything very much."
The European Games kicked off in Baku June 12 and will last till June 28.
There is a total of 20 sports at Baku 2015: 16 Olympic sports and four non-Olympic sports. More than 6,000 athletes from across Europe will be representing their nations over 17 days of competition.
Baku was awarded the games by the European Olympic Committees (EOC) in December 2012.
