ASHGABAT, Turkmenistan, June 23. Two major transactions were concluded at the State Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange of Turkmenistan on June 21, Trend reports.
On the foreign market, entrepreneurs from the United Arab Emirates purchased textile products for $89,760.
Meanwhile, on the domestic market, local companies acquired polypropylene of the TPP D 30 S brand from the State Concern Turkmennebit for $2.36 million.
Earlier this month, Turkmennebit announced an international tender for the purchase of electrical and geophysical equipment, underscoring the concern’s ongoing efforts to modernize infrastructure and expand procurement for oil and gas operations. The tender covers a wide range of materials, including control and measuring instruments, communication systems, and construction supplies—reflecting the growing activity and investment within Turkmenistan’s hydrocarbon sector.
