BAKU, Azerbaijan, August 10. Bakyt Esimova has been appointed Head of the Department for Control over Consideration of Appeals of the Presidential Administration of Kazakhstan, press service of the Kazakh president says.
"By order of the Head of State, Bakhyt Amangeldinovna Yesimova was appointed Head of the Department for Monitoring the Review of Appeals of the Administration of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan," the press service stated.
Prior to the appointment, Esimova served as Deputy Head of the same department. Esimova was born on January 29, 1984, in Pavlodar region of Kazakhstan. She graduated from St. Petersburg State University of Engineering and Economics in 2006 under the Bolashak international scholarship program.
She began her career in 2006 as a manager and later head of the office of the executive director of the Congress of Youth of Kazakhstan. In 2007–2008, she worked as an expert at the Center for Trade Policy Development. From 2008 to 2010, Esimova headed the Department of Strategic Planning and Public Relations at the Agency of the Republic of Kazakhstan for Civil Service Affairs.
She later held positions in Akmola region, including Deputy Head and Head of the Department for Coordination of Employment and Social Programs, and served as Head of the Office of the Akim of Akmola region from 2013 to 2015.
In 2015–2020, Esimova headed the Department of Internal Policy of Astana city (later Nur-Sultan). From September 2020 to May 2022, she served as Deputy Akim (Governor) of Kostanay region.
Since May 2022, she had held the position of Deputy Head of the Department for Control over Consideration of Appeals of the Presidential Administration of Kazakhstan. Esimova speaks Kazakh, Russian, Korean and English.
