BISHKEK, Kyrgyzstan, December 16. Kyrgyzstan’s Eldik Bank, the national postal service Kyrgyzpost, and the German company Postmost have signed an agreement in Berlin to create a new marketplace, Trend reports via Eldik Bank.

This joint marketplace is expected to play a crucial role in developing e-commerce in Kyrgyzstan, opening up new market opportunities for businesses, and improving access to goods and services both within Kyrgyzstan and internationally. It will also help integrate Kyrgyz companies into global trade networks.

"We are pleased to join forces with our partners, Postmost GmbH and Kyrgyzpost, to contribute to the development of e-commerce in Kyrgyzstan. The marketplace will not only serve as a trading platform but also act as a tool for creating new opportunities for entrepreneurs, thus boosting the economic development of the region," said Ulanbek Nogaev, Chairman of the Board of Eldik Bank.

Postmost GmbH will bring its expertise and innovative technologies to the project. The marketplace platform is set to launch in the first quarter of 2025.
