BISHKEK, Kyrgyzstan, December 22. Crude oil production metrics in Kyrgyzstan exhibited a downward trajectory from January through November 2024.
Data obtained by Trend from the Committee on Statistics of Kyrgyzstan shows that this figure amounted to 268,100 tons of crude oil, which is 3.2 percent less than in the same period in 2023 (277,000 tons).
This November, the nationwide crude oil production hit 26,300 tons, marking a rise of 1.2 percent from the 26,000 tons recorded in November 2023.
To note, the mining production value from January through November 2024 in Kyrgyzstan amounted to 55.3 billion som ($636 million), which is a 12 percent increase compared to the same period last year.
In broader industrial output, the country's production during 11 months of this year exceeded 513 billion som ($5.9 billion), up 4.8 percent compared to the same period in 2023.
