ASHGABAT, Turkmenistan, July 2. The primary structures of the buildings of the Turkmen State Pedagogical Institute named after Seyitnazar Seydi in Turkmenabat, the construction of which began in September last year, have been completed, Trend reports.
According to an official source, the builders are currently working on cladding the exterior marble in the main part of the buildings.
In addition to academic buildings, the university has already renovated five student dormitories with 360 rooms each.
At the same time, builders are currently building 12 dormitories for teachers and 200 students with a wellness center.
The new institute building complex is due to be opened and commissioned in September 2026, but the current pace of construction shows that work is progressing faster than planned.
Meanwhile, the construction sector of Turkmenistan has been developing markedly in recent years, stimulated by public investments and infrastructure modernization programs.
The construction of new residential complexes and civil and industrial infrastructure facilities is actively progressing, which contributes to the improvement of housing conditions and ensures the economic growth of the country.
