BAKU, Azerbaijan, October 19. Projects from 10 business entities operating in Azerbaijan's liberated territories have received soft loans totaling 23.8 million manat ($13.9 million), a Board Member of the Entrepreneurship Development Fund Emin Shirinov said during a meeting with representatives of micro and small enterprises in Shusha city today, Trend reports.
He also briefed the meeting attendees on the financial support provided by the fund to the business entities.
Shirinov noted that in the first nine months of the current year, 167.6 million manat ($97 million) in soft loans were allocated to investment projects for 4,116 business entities.
Additionally, under the guarantee subsidy mechanism in the liberated areas, state guarantees totaling 14 million manat ( $8 million) were provided for eight credit projects amounting to 17.7 million manat ($10.2 million).
The meeting also discussed the registration of business entities, emphasizing the importance of obtaining resident status and addressing questions raised by entrepreneurs.
