BAKU, Azerbaijan, December 21. Iraqi citizens purchased 1,158 real estate objects in Türkiye from January through November 2024, which is 665 fewer than in the same period in 2023, Trend reports via the State Land Registry and Real Estate Purchase and Sale Authority of Türkiye.
Iraqi citizens purchased 147 properties in November 2024, which is 57 more than in October 2023.
In November 2024, a total of 153,014 apartments were purchased in Türkiye, 63.6 percent more than in November 2023. A total of 1.2 million apartments were sold in Türkiye in the period from January through November 2024, an increase of 16.4 percent compared to the same period in 2023.
Foreign nationals marketed 2,151 apartments in November 2024, an 8.2 percent decrease from the same month in 2023. Overall, foreigners purchased 21,363 apartments from January through November 2024, 35.1 percent less than in the same period last year.
