BAKU, Azerbaijan, June 10. The State Tax Service (STS) under the Ministry of Economy of Azerbaijan has contributed nearly 7.84 billion manat ($4.61 billion) to the state budget from January through May 2025, surpassing the forecast by 105.7 percent.
Data obtained by Trend from the State Service indicates that tax
receipts experienced an uptick of 344.2 million manat ($202.4
million), reflecting a growth rate of 4.6 percent in juxtaposition
to the corresponding timeframe of the previous fiscal year.
Furthermore, fiscal inflows from the non-hydrocarbon sector
attained approximately 5.72 billion manat ($3.36 billion). In
juxtaposition with the corresponding timeframe in 2024, fiscal
contributions emanating from this sector have escalated by 9.1
percent.
Out of the total taxes collected, 72.9 percent came from the non-oil and gas sector, while the remaining 27.1 percent originated from the oil and gas sector.
