BAKU, Azerbaijan, June 10. Nearly 96 million manat ($56.6 million) in taxes was collected in the budget of Azerbaijan through the State Tax Service under the Ministry of Economy of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic, which is 22.6 percent, or 17.7 million manat ($10.4 million), more compared to the same period last year.
The data obtained by Trend from the State Tax Service shows that tax revenues from the private sector amounted to 64.1 million manat ($37.8 million).
In juxtaposition to the corresponding timeframe in 2024, fiscal inflows from this sector exhibited an augmentation of 13.6 million manat ($8 million), translating to a growth rate of 26.9 percent.
Of the taxes paid, 66.8 percent came from the private sector and 33.2 percent from the public sector.
