Iran’s exports through the customs of the Kerman Province (south-eastern Iran) increased by 40 percent in terms of value and 27 percent in terms of volume in the 5th month of the current Iranian year (July 23 through August 22, 2021), compared to the same month last Iranian year, Director General for Kerman Province Customs Office Mohammad Reza Ghader said, Trend reports referring to the Islamic Republic of Iran Customs Administration (IRICA).
The director general noted that 158,000 tons of goods worth $343 million were exported through the province’s customs over the reporting month.
Ghader added that the goods were mainly exported to China, India, Germany, Iraq, Turkey, the UAE, Italy and Russia.
“So, Iran exported pistachios worth $217 million, copper products worth $51 million, copper ingots worth $38 million, oil products worth $11 million and ferromolybdenum worth $4 million via the customs of Kerman Province in the 5th month," he said.
In addition, Iran imported $196 million worth of goods through the province’s customs within the mentioned month. The main exported goods were car spare parts worth $148 million and modem spare parts worth $11 million, according to Ghader.
The director general emphasized that these goods were mainly imported from China, Britain, the USA, Japan, South Korea, India, Malaysia, Germany, Spain, and Italy.
