Afghanistan imported oil and gas products of Turkmenistan for $64 million in 1Q2021, Trend reports with reference to the Turkmenbashi Complex of Oil Refineries of Turkmenistan.
In particular, during the reporting period, about 8,000 tons of A-80 gasoline and more than 45,000 tons of motor gasoline of other brands, as well as about 40,000 tons of liquefied gas were delivered from Turkmenistan to Afghanistan.
In addition, the supply of Turkmen diesel fuel to Afghanistan amounted to 28,000 tons in 1Q2021.
Afghan businessmen bought technical petroleum oils, polyethylene, polypropylene, propane and other products.
As reported, Turkmenistan and Afghanistan are committed to increasing mutual cooperation in the fields of transport, communications and energy.
Turkmen businessmen are private participants of the State Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange of Turkmenistan, where, in addition to oil and gas, other Turkmen products are purchased.
