Iran reveals export and import volumes of non-oil products from its Qom Province

BAKU, Azerbaijan, September 28. The export of non-oil products from Qom Province, located in the center of Iran, and the import of products to this province totaled about 134,000 tons worth $271 million during the six months of the current Iranian year (from March 20 through September 21, 2024), Director General of the Customs Administration of Iran's Qom Province, Esfandiar Darikvandi told reporters, Trend reports.

According to him, about 96,100 tons of non-oil products worth $89.2 million were exported from Qom Province during the six months and that 37,500 tons of non-oil products worth $182 million were imported to Qom Province during the six months.

The official added that Qom Province's customs revenue amounted to 6.12 trillion rials (about $13.6 million) during the six months.

Iran's exports of non-oil products amounted to 70 million tons worth $25.8 billion during the six months of the current Iranian year. Iran's exports of non-oil products increased by 6.5 percent in value and 3.5 percent in weight compared to the same period of last year (from March 21 through September 22, 2023).

To note, during the six months of the current Iranian year, Iran's imports of non-oil products amounted to $32.6 billion.
