BAKU, Azerbaijan, April 9. Iran will take control of the Strait of Hormuz to a new level and demand compensation for damage caused during the fighting, Iran's Supreme Leader Mojtaba Khamenei says, Trend reports.
According to him, Tehran will seek compensation for the destruction caused, the deaths of the country's residents, and the injuries to war veterans.
He added that the Iranian authorities did not and do not seek war, but will under no circumstances renounce their legal rights.
