BAKU, Azerbaijan, March 14. Azerbaijan exported a total of 301.5 million kilowatt-hours (kWh) of electricity from January through February 2025.
Data obtained by Trend from the country's Ministry of Energy shows that
this amount increased by 79.9 million kWh, or 36 percent, compared
to the same period last year, when power export was 221.6 million
kWh.
In the reporting period, Azerbaijan's power imports totaled 19.5
million kWh, representing a decrease of 13 million kWh, or 40
percent, compared to the first two months of 2024, when imports
were 32.5 million kWh.
