ASHGABAT, Turkmenistan, April 29. Chinese investors plan to launch initiatives in key sectors ranging from IT and high-tech manufacturing to agriculture in Turkmenistan, President of the China Overseas Development Association (CODA) He Zhenwei said, Trend reports.
He made the remark during a Turkmen-Chinese business forum in Ashgabat on April 29, adding that the current visit of the Chinese delegation marks a transition to the practical implementation stage of large-scale joint projects, with a focus on in-depth market assessment and project launch.
According to him, three priority areas have been identified by Chinese investors. In particular, cooperation in green energy involves leveraging China's expertise to build solar power plants in Turkmenistan.
