BAKU, Azerbaijan, April 23. Iran's Persian Gulf Star Oil Company (PGSOC) has increased its gasoline production capacity by 3 million liters per day in the first month of the current Iranian year (from March 21 through April 20, 2025), Gholamhossein Ramazanpour, the CEO of PGSOC, told reporters, Trend reports.
According to him, the company’s daily gasoline production capacity now stands at 45 million liters.
Ramazanpour further explained that this improvement was facilitated by the replacement of a heat converter in the company’s 2nd refinery section, involving certain investments and necessary repairs.
Meanwhile, Iran’s South Pars Gas Company supplied over 135 million barrels of gas condensate to PGSOC for gasoline production during the last Iranian year (from March 20, 2024, through March 20, 2025).
Fars Gulf Star Oil Company operates three refineries, each with a capacity to process 150,000 barrels of crude oil per day, totaling a daily capacity of 450,000 barrels. The company produces various products, including 42 million liters of gasoline, 16 million liters of diesel, and 2,000 tons of LPG daily.
