Baku will host the US-Azerbaijan business forum on information and communication technologies (ICT), the Azerbaijani Communications and IT Ministry told Trend on Wednesday.
According to the ministry, talks on the forum are being held with the United States - Azerbaijan chamber of commerce (USACC).
The forum is planned to be held within the XIX International Exhibition and Conference Baku Tel-2013 (December 2-5).
"The USACC has been forming a list of participants of business mission among its members and other companies today that may be interested in doing business in the Azerbaijan market," the ministry added. "The preparations for the forum will be intensified from September."
USACC is designed for leading U.S. firms specializing in the field of ICT, including space technologies, business analytics, cyber security, and other spheres.
The forum, to be supported by the Azerbaijani Communications and IT Ministry, will include briefings and meetings with senior representatives of countries and representatives of IT companies.
The U.S position will be presented at the exhibition in 2013.
