BAKU, Azerbaijan, November 22. SNF company intends to enter the Azerbaijani market, SNF senior project manager Bertrand Sahuc told Trend.
He said SNF aims to create a strong global presence through strong development strategies.
"One of our key areas is polymer flooding, an innovative method that allows us to sustainably increase oil recovery. We call it chemically enhanced oil recovery. This approach is the cornerstone of SNF's expanding operations in the region, which will lead to sustainable growth in the refining industry. And that's why we are here [at the SPE Caspian Technical Conference] to start projects in Azerbaijan," he said.
SNF is a private company established in the Rhône-Alpes area of France that specializes in the production of particular chemicals and has a long-standing presence on all continents. SNF has the world's largest polyacrylamide production capacity, with 21 production locations in Europe, Asia, Australia, and America and a production capacity of 1.4 million tons.
SNF has produced over 1,080 products that help conserve natural resources, encourage waste recycling, and increase the efficiency of industrial operations as a leader in the production and processing of water-soluble polymers (based on polyacrylamide). Polymers derived from it are utilized in wastewater treatment, oil and gas extraction, mining, agriculture, paper, textiles, and cosmetics.
SNF products are sold in 140 countries in all industries. The company's 70 subsidiaries are located in more than 40 countries in the three main economic regions (America, Europe, and Asia).
