BAKU, Azerbaijan, January 7. The US delegation will continue talks with Ukraine in Paris on January 7, Stephen Witkoff, the US President’s Special Representative who took part in the “Coalition of the Willing” meeting in Paris, reported on the social media platform X, Trend reports.
“We will continue negotiations with the Ukrainian delegation tonight and tomorrow and hope for further positive outcomes in the near future,” Witkoff wrote.
He added that during the meetings in Paris, the US delegation made progress on issues of bilateral security guarantees for Ukraine and the country’s economic recovery plan. “We have made significant progress in a number of key areas, including bilateral security guarantees and a plan for economic prosperity. US President Donald Trump wants peace in Ukraine, and we are ready to do everything possible to achieve this goal at his request,” the Special Representative emphasized.
