BAKU, Azerbaijan, January 7. On January 7, at around 1:00 p.m., a man born in 1985 was hospitalized at the Fuzuli Central District Hospital with injuries sustained from a landmine explosion in the Jabrayil district, the Association for the Management of Medical Territorial Units (TABİB) told Trend.

Meanwhile, it is noted that he was diagnosed with an open wound of the right knee joint, open wounds of the upper and lower thirds of the right lower leg, thighs of both legs, and the anterior abdominal wall.

“The treatment of the victim continues. His condition is assessed as moderate,” the information notes.

BAKU, Azerbaijan, January 7. A mine incident occurred in Mehdili village of Azerbaijan's liberated Jabrayil district today, injuring a civilian, the statement of Azerbaijan National Agency for Mine Action (ANAMA) says, Trend reports.

Rashad Mammadov, born in 1985, an employee of a private company engaged in humanitarian mine clearance operations, was carrying out his official duties when an anti-personnel mine detonated. The explosion resulted in minor injuries to his leg.

The injured individual was promptly evacuated to the regional central hospital, where his condition was assessed as stable and not life-threatening.
