BAKU, Azerbaijan, December 19. Azerbaijan's expenditures on pharmaceutical production from January through November 2024 significantly grew.
Data obtained by Trend from the country's State Customs Committee shows that this figure amounted to 19.2 million manat ($11.29 million), marking a two-fold year-on-year growth.
Furthermore, Azerbaijan imported 18,810 tons of pharmaceutical products worth $467 million in the 11 months this year, which is $53.39 million (10.25 percent) in value and 6,147 tons (24.6 percent) in volume less than for the same period in 2023.
Meanwhile, the product export value was $59,040, down $300,510 (83.6 percent) year-on-year.
