The 2nd Conference of Labor Ministers of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) finished in Baku on Friday. At the meeting the ministers unanimously adopted by Baku Framework Document on Labour and Employment Issues, Baku Declaration and the Resolution on Cooperation in the Field of Labor, Employment and Social Security, Ministry of Labour and Social Protection of Population of Azerbaijan stated.
The documents provide for the reduction of unemployment in OIC member states, increasing its competitiveness to the international standards of labor force, as well as its return level, elimination of the disparity between the labor market and the education system, labour protection, prevention of illegal employment cases and long-term cooperation priorities in other areas.
Along with this the participants touched on the issues of the occupation of Azerbaijani territories by Armenian armed units, 1 million Azerbaijani refugees and displaced persons, as well as hundreds thousand job places that remained in the occupied part of the country. In this regard, the unanimously adopted resolution included a paragraph about the unconditional liberation of Azerbaijani territories occupied by Armenian armed forces.
