The State Oil Company of Azerbaijan (SOCAR) carried out drilling operations with a depth of over 11,000 meters in the third quarter of this year, Trend reports referring to SOCAR’s report.
At the same time, SOCAR processed about 1.3 million tons of oil and over 827 million cubic meters of natural gas.
In order to stabilize oil and gas production, SOCAR conducted 150,800 meters of drilling in 2019 and put into operation 76 new wells.
The SOCAR is engaged in the search, exploration, and development of oil and gas fields in Azerbaijan, the production, processing, and transportation of oil, gas, and gas condensate, the sale of oil, petrochemical products, and gas in the domestic and foreign markets and providing the population with natural gas.
