BAKU, Azerbaijan, September 10. SOCAR Trading (the trading house of the State Oil Company of Azerbaijan - SOCAR) is attending the 40th anniversary APPEC (Asia Pacific Petroleum Conference) event in Singapore, organized by S&P Global Commodity Insights, the conference organizer told Trend.
The event has brought together traders and specialists from 150 companies worldwide.
During the daily grind, companies will brainstorm game plans for energy transition and decarbonization, keep tabs on hydrocarbon market trends and price forecasts, as well as analyze the technological and geopolitical factors affecting global energy markets, all while promoting sustainable practices and initiatives tied to the circular economy.
"This is a crucial meeting of leaders in the oil and gas market of the Asia-Pacific region, providing opportunities to establish and strengthen partnerships and exchange expert opinions," the organizer noted.
SOCAR Trading pointed out that discussions on the first day of the conference focused on what the future of energy looks like as the effects of climate change ease and the role of Asia in the global oil market.
