BAKU, Azerbaijan, September 4. AccessBank is set to open new branches across Azerbaijani regions within the coming year, Chairman of the Board of AccessBank David Tsiklauri said in an interview with Trend.

“AccessBank is planning to expand its network, particularly in Azerbaijan's regions, where we aim to enhance the accessibility of banking services. In some areas where we already have clients, the nearest branch is approximately 80 to 100 kilometers away, and we recognize the need to improve access for these customers. Currently, we do not have immediate plans for co-branded branches.”

Tsiklauri stressed that AccessBank has always placed a premium on Azerbaijan's regions.

“This year, we have opened new branches in Guba, Masally, and Goranboy, and also expanded our branch in Gabala, where our team has been rapidly growing. Initially, when entering a new region, we start with a branch without cash services to test the demand. If operations begin to develop actively, we convert it into a full-service branch. At present, we are considering opening two more branches in regions with active economic activity. We have already identified these areas and plan to establish branches there within the next 12 months,” he added.
