BAKU, Azerbaijan, December 13. The average monthly nominal salary of hired workers in Baku city amounted to 1,252 manat ($736.4) from January through September 2024.
The data obtained by Trend from the country's Baku City Statistical Department show that this is 7.3 percent higher than in the same period last year.
Meanwhile, the average monthly nominal salary of hired workers in Azerbaijan from January through September this year increased by eight percent compared to the same period last year and amounted to 993 manat ($584.1).
To note, the average monthly nominal salary of hired workers in Baku city amounted to 1,183 manat ($695.8) in 2023.
