Deputy Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development of Georgia Nikoloz Alavidze took part in the 22nd conference of America-Georgia Business Council (AGBC), Trend reports with reference to commersant.ge.
The Deputy Minister expressed his gratitude to US financial institutions as we;; as local and international organizations for their support and cooperation, which have contributed to the development of Georgia.
During the conference, the participants focused on deepening Georgian-American trade and economic relations and finding new ways of the Georgia development. Prospects of private companies' investments in priority areas of the Georgian economy including energy, metallurgy, agriculture, tourism and financial sector were also discussed.
The conference hosted a presentation of the 25th anniversary of the Economic Freedom Index of the Heritage Fund and an analysis of the results achieved by Georgia.
Established in 1998, AGBC promotes trade and investment between North America and Georgia by helping companies focus and accelerate decision-making to forge successful, bilateral business partnerships.
