The State Oil Company of the Azerbaijan Republic (SOCAR) needs qualified personnel to implement large projects for the export of Azerbaijani gas to Europe, SOCAR President, Rovnag Abdullayev said at a meeting with participants of the Summer School.
According to him, the export of Azerbaijani gas to Europe is the second phase of the fruition of the oil strategy. The project of the second phase of the Shah Deniz field's development will open doors for Azerbaijani gas to Europe.
Azerbaijan has recently opened several new gas fields and has promising structures, which also have great opportunities. Accordingly, gas from Shah Deniz in perspective will create opportunities for the supply of fuel from other Azerbaijani oil fields to Europe, Abdullayev said.
According to him, the first phase of the oil strategy has been implemented with the active participation and funding of foreign partners, whereas the second phase will be implemented Azerbaijan, he projects leader.
"All these require qualified personnel," Abdullayev said.
