BISHKEK, Kyrgyzstan, July 29. The Russian-Kyrgyz Development Fund (RKDF) plans to launch 35 investment projects in Kyrgyzstan in 2024, Trend reports.

RKDF Chairman Artem Novikov made this announcement at the 11th Kyrgyz-Russian Interregional Conference in Krasnoyarsk, Russia.

Novikov noted that in the past three years, the fund has attracted new projects involving Russian companies such as Unigreen, Rosatom, and Novawind. The total investment in Kyrgyzstan's economy from these projects could reach approximately $500 million.

"The RKDF is also ready to initiate new projects with partners from the Eurasian Development Bank (EDB)," he added.

Novikov highlighted that the fund provides non-financial support to Russian businesses interested in investing in Kyrgyzstan, including access to analytical resources and project structuring assistance.

"In the coming years, we plan to invest at least $630 million into Kyrgyzstan's economy, attract a minimum of $500 million in direct investments, and increase the share of projects promoting economic cooperation between Kyrgyzstan and Russia by up to 50 percent," Novikov said.

The Russian-Kyrgyz Development Fund was established in 2014. It is a key tool in the process of Kyrgyzstan's integration into the Eurasian Economic Union. The RKDF has invested $707.9 million into Kyrgyzstan's economy over the past 10 years.
