Azerbaijan amends state program on improving state-owned property management

BAKU, Azerbaijan, August 5.​ The "State program on improving state-owned property management in Azerbaijan" has been amended.

President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev signed the relevant decree. The document text was published on his official website.

According to the amendment, the transfer of fixed assets owned by the state and with an initial unit value of more than 5,000 manat ($2,940) between individual state bodies and state-owned legal entities will be carried out on the basis of decisions adopted by the Cabinet of Ministers after receiving the opinion of the State Service for Property Issues under the Ministry of Economy, except for cases determined by the President of Azerbaijan, including cases where the Ministry of Justice resolves issues related to the financial and other material and technical support of courts of first instance in accordance with Article 86 of the Law "On Courts and Judges". The transfer of fixed assets owned by the state and with an initial unit value of 5,000 manat or less between individual state bodies and state-owned legal entities will be carried out based on the decisions of those state bodies and state-owned legal entities after obtaining the written consent of the State Service for Property Issues under the Ministry of Economy.
