BISHKEK, Kyrgyzstan, September 13. Nine agreements were signed at the VI Kyrgyz-Russian Economic Forum so far, totaling $265 million, the Russian-Kyrgyz Development Fund told Trend.
The agreements include:
1. An investment agreement for the construction and operation of a wind power plant in Balykchy city of the Issyk-Kul region. Signatories are NovaWind Kyrgyzstan, Rosatom Renewable Energy, and the Kyrgyz Cabinet of Ministers.
2. An investment project agreement for the development of the Chandalash small hydroelectric power station in the Jalal-Abad region. Signatories are the Russian-Kyrgyz Development Fund, Kyrgyzstan's Alpha Oil, and Rosatom Service.
3. A contract between the Russian-Kyrgyz Development Fund and Kyrgyz Alliance Hydro for financing the Dzheruy hydroelectric power station.
4. A financing agreement for the modernization of repair enterprises at Kyrgyz Railways State Enterprise using Russian technologies. Signatories are Kyrgyz Railways and the Russian-Kyrgyz Development Fund.
5. An investment project agreement for the construction of a hotel complex in Bishkek. Signatories are Russia's Azimut Hotels Company and the Russian-Kyrgyz Development Fund.
6. An investment project agreement for building a second production line for basalt fiber. Signatories are Kyrgyzstan's Iso-Penoplast and the Russian-Kyrgyz Development Fund.
7. A memorandum of understanding and cooperation for financing the construction of a waste recycling plant in the Chuy region. Signatories are the Kyrgyz Ministry of Natural Resources, Ecology, and Technical Supervision, Kyrgyzstan's Taza Bio Service LLC, the Russian-Kyrgyz Development Fund, and the Eurasian Development Bank.
8. A memorandum of cooperation and understanding for the digitalization and management of municipal enterprises. Signatories are Bishkek City Administration and Russia's Lartek Telecom.
9. A roadmap between the Kyrgyz Ministry of Economy and Commerce and the Russian Ministry of Industry and Trade to explore the feasibility of establishing industrial and technology parks in Kyrgyzstan.
The VI Kyrgyz-Russian Economic Forum is currently taking place in Kyrgyzstan. Organized in part by the Russian-Kyrgyz Development Fund, the event has attracted over 600 participants.
