ASTANA, Kazakhstan, February 4. Plans are in the works to roll out a homegrown network of charging stations for electric vehicles in Kazakhstan, said founder of Adele Energy Group Ivan Trofimov at a government meeting, Trend reports.

As Ivan Trofimov noted, the necessary infrastructure for this is already being produced in Kazakhstan. The production is handled by Adele Energy Group. Work on their installation is underway in the cities of Almaty and Astana.

Furthermore, the charging stations can juice up any kind of land transport under the sun. Future plans include expansion into external markets too. According to the company’s management, the export potential for this is quite large, especially in the countries of the Middle East.

This idea also found its reinforcement during an assembly with Prime Minister of Kazakhstan Olzhas Bektenov, who instructed stakeholders that the development of the domestic charging station network prioritize Kazakhstan’s manufacturers.

“Adele Energy Group is a Kazakhstani company, the only developer of charging station technologies in Central Asia. The company’s strategy is to develop the best and most competitive technologies and software in the field of charging devices for ‘green transport' and to create a domestic charging network in Kazakhstan. Our electric stations allow the charging of absolutely any vehicle in the world. In addition, they can charge buses, freight, and specialized vehicles. They support all international protocols and charging standards. Our immediate plans include the development of a national charging infrastructure with the core of our domestic developments and technologies. We plan to test and launch projects in Almaty and Astana in 2025, with steady and active development involving large investors. We also see a large export potential, especially to Middle Eastern countries,” said Trofimov.

Additionally, earlier at a government meeting in Kazakhstan, the digital platform “E-Zholdar” is being developed, which will monitor the condition of not only national roads but also local and city roads.
