BAKU, Azerbaijan, January 3. The net claims of the Central Bank of Azerbaijan (CBA) on banks and non-bank credit organizations (NBCOs) notably grew as of December 1, 2024.
The data obtained by Trend from the Central Bank of Azerbaijan shows that this figure amounted to 10.2 billion manat ($6 billion), up 4.7 billion manat ($2.7 billion) or 86.5 percent from the same period in 2023 (5.5 billion manat or $3.2 billion).
In monthly terms, the amount decreased by 131.3 million manat ($77.2 million), or 1.3 percent. Thus, the requirements as of November 1 last year amounted to 10.3 billion manat ($6.06 billion).
