BAKU, Azerbaijan, February 21. The volume of gas transportation through pipelines in Azerbaijan reached over 29 million tons in 2024.
The data obtained by Trend from the State Statistical Committee shows that this figure represents an increase of 766,000 tons, or 2.7 percent, compared to 2023. Over the past decade, the volume of transportation via gas pipelines has grown by 13.8 million tons or 90.5 percent.
In particular, the volume of gas transportation via pipelines in Azerbaijan was 28.2 million tons in 2023, while in 2015, it was 15.2 million tons.
From 2015 to 2024, the total volume of gas transported through pipelines in Azerbaijan amounted to 215.5 million tons.

The total volume of transportation through pipelines in Azerbaijan last year was 67.8 million tons in 2024, marking a slight decrease of 0.3 percent or 235,000 tons compared to the previous year when it stood at 68 million tons.
