BAKU, Azerbaijan, March 28. Azerbaijan exported nearly 61,900 tons of organic chemical compounds abroad from January through February 2025.
Data obtained by Trend from the State Customs Committee of Azerbaijan indicates that the revenue generated from this amount of exports reached $19.8 million.
Organic chemical compound exports saw a decrease of 20,500 tons, or 24.9 percent, in volume compared to the same period last year. However, in terms of value, exports increased by $4.1 million or 26 percent.
Meanwhile, Azerbaijan exported approximately 82,400 tons of organic chemical compounds in the first two months of the previous year, generating $15.7 million in revenue.
To note, exports of the aforementioned products accounted for 0.42 percent of the country’s total exports during the reporting period.
