ASTANA, Kazakhstan, April 3. John Deere, a
U.S.-based brand, has commenced production of self-propelled,
towed, and mounted agricultural machinery at its new Localization
Center in Kazakhstan's Kostanay region, Trend reports.
"Thanks to the political and economic reforms underway in
Kazakhstan, we have been able to establish industrial cooperation
with the leading American agricultural machinery brand, John Deere
USA. This is a historic achievement. Through such high-tech
projects, we are not only creating new jobs and adopting innovative
technologies but also cultivating an engineering mindset among
Kazakhstanis," said Dinara Shukizhanova, president of AGROMASH.
The official representative of John Deere in Kazakhstan is the
'Eurasia Group' company. As part of this project, they will
continue distributing agricultural machinery, now made in
Kazakhstan, along with offering services and integrating digital
solutions into the country’s agricultural sector.
“Additionally, the project will bring additional resources to
support economic development, education, and the training of
professionals in agriculture, including agronomists, engineers,
machine operators, and IT specialists. Over the next five years,
three modern service centers will be built, which will become key
platforms for introducing digital technologies and improving the
efficiency of the country’s agro-industrial complex," informed the
Ministry of Agriculture of Kazakhstan.
As part of the ongoing expansion of industrial cooperation,
AGROMASH will continue to localize other Western brands, which will
further increase the share of domestically produced agricultural
machinery in Kazakhstan’s market.
John Deere, a global leader in agricultural machinery, is launching
production in Kazakhstan, marking a crucial step in the development
of the industry. It is a famous United States brand that produces
machinery for agriculture, construction, and forestry, as well as
lawn care equipment. It was founded in 1837 by John Deere,
initially making steel plows to help farmers work through tough
soil. Over time, the company expanded and became a leading
manufacturer of heavy machinery used in farming and other
industries.
Manufacturing will take place at the AGROMASH Localization Center,
the largest localized industrial facility in the country’s
agricultural machinery sector, ensuring high-quality production and
technical support.
