BAKU, Azerbaijan, May 11. Azerbaijan imported 20.16 tons of natural honey from Ukraine during the first two months of this year.
The data obtained by Trend from the State Statistics Committee shows that $100,780 was spent on importing this amount of product.
In the first two months of this year, the average price of one kilogram of honey purchased from Ukraine was $5.
Although Azerbaijan didn't import natural honey from Ukraine last year, in 2023, 550 kilograms of natural honey worth $4,310 were imported from this country. The average price of one kilogram of imported honey during this period was $7.8.
Over the reporting period, Azerbaijan imported a total of 41 tons of natural honey valued at $196,000, mainly from Ukraine, Türkiye, and Russia.
