The producer prices index for industrial products decreased by 3.9 percent in Azerbaijan in July 2014 compared to June, according to the report of the Azerbaijan's State Statistical Committee.
The production prices decreased by 4.4 percent in the mining industry and in manufacturing industry - by 0.1 percent during the reported period, the statistical report said.
Producer prices in the filed of extraction of stone, sand, salt, gravel increased by 0.4 percent last month. The decrease in producer prices in metal ore production made up 1.1 percent in July, and in the sphere of oil and natural gas grew by 4.5 percent.
Producer prices in the sphere of wood processing and wood product manufacturing decreased by 0.3 percent, in the production of rubber and plastic products - 2.7 percent, computer, electronic and optical products - 25.3 percent, the textile industry - 7.1 percent, in the field of installation and repair of machinery and equipment - 5.3 percent, clothing production - 3.6 percent, the chemical industry - 2.5 percent, the production of electrical equipment - 1.4 percent, furniture - 0.8 percent, metallurgical industry and construction materials - 0.6 percent.
The rise in price was recorded in the production of pharmaceutical products - 0.3 percent, petroleum products - 0.2 percent, finished steel products - 0.1 percent.
No changes were recorded in the price of production, distribution and supply of electricity, gas and steam within a month.
