Goycay-Sud, a big producer of dairy products located in Azerbaijan’s Goychay district, increased production cheese products by 40-45 percent in 1Q2020, a source in the enterprise told Trend.
According to the source, the opening of two new plants in December 2019, led to a significant increase in the production of cheese products.
“Presently, our factory’s cheese products are in great demand in the domestic market and account for almost 70 percent of sales. The company also plans to increase production of dairy products. The plant produces 750-800 tons of dairy products annually. Of this, 400-450 tons account for cheese. In terms of money, the enterprise produced dairy products worth 250,000-260,000 manat in 2019, and it is planned to increase this indicator to at least 400,000-420,000 manat in 2020,” said the source.
The plant operates at full capacity and has been provided with modern Swedish and Italian equipment.
The plant’s products have a certificate of conformity issued by the Azerbaijani State Committee on Standardization, Metrology and Patents.
