Turkmenistan sees an increase in the production of industrial products in 1Q2021, said the economic observer for Turkmenistan, Valentin Trapeznikov, Trend reports with reference to CentralAsia.news.
The highest growth rates in the fuel and energy sector of Turkmenistan were recorded in natural gas production - 13 percent, the production of electricity — 9.4 percent, lubricating oils - 10.9 percent, and petroleum coke-more than 2.1 times.
During this period, the manufacture of phosphorus fertilizers increased by 24.9 percent, and potash fertilizers – by 18.7 percent.
In addition, the production of plastic and fiberglass pipes increased by 2.5 times.
In the construction materials industry, the highest growth rates were recorded in the production of cement — 25.6 percent, flat glass - 5.3 percent, as well as precast concrete structures.
As reported, the divisions of the Turkmenhimiya State Concern increased production by 46.2 percent in the reporting period, and the volume of production at the Turkmenbashi Complex of Oil Refineries increased by 18.2 percent.
In the reporting period, the Ministry of Textile Industry increased production by 26.9 percent, the Ministry of Energy - 22 percent, the Ministry of Industry and Construction Production - 18.5 percent.
