Turkmenistan’s state exchange completes major deals on energy resource

ASHGABAT, Turkmenistan, March 13. The State Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange of Turkmenistan (GTSBT) completed transactions for the purchase of oil bitumen and liquefied gas on Thursday, Trend reports.

The total value of the transactions for oil bitumen reached 38.8 million manat ($23 million).

The products, acquired by local entrepreneurs at the exchange, were produced at enterprises of the State Concern Turkmengaz.

Among potential buyers, business circles from Afghanistan stuck out from the crowd, who purchased liquefied gas worth $882,250.

The State Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange of Turkmenistan (GTSBT) is the main platform for commodity trading in the country. It facilitates the sale of oil, gas, petrochemicals, textiles, and agricultural products, playing a key role in managing natural resource exports and ensuring efficient transactions. GTSBT supports both local and international businesses, driving economic growth and trade relations.
