BAKU, Azerbaijan, August 27. Azerbaijan and Uzbekistan are considering the introduction of the “EDO.IJRO.UZ” complex for interstate document flow, an informed source told Trend.
According to the information, this tool will be used to manage the document flow between the state agencies of the two countries, which will significantly increase the efficiency and promptness of administrative tasks.
The source noted that the IT services sector is actively developing in Uzbekistan, and the number of companies has grown to 1,600.
“It is also proposed to introduce the best practices of Uzbekistan, including identification, electronic applications of citizens, billing systems, and a single portal “DXA.GOV.UZ” in the service centers of Azerbaijan,” the source added.
To note, by the end of 2023 in Azerbaijan, information and communication enterprises provided services worth 3.2 billion manat ($1.8 billion) (16.3 percent growth).
