BAKU, Azerbaijan, September 14. The information and communication enterprises in Azerbaijan provided services worth 2.2 billion manat ($1.2 billion) from January through August 2024.
The data obtained by Trend from the country's State Statistics Committee shows that this figure increased by 12.9 percent compared to the same period of 2023.
Meanwhile, 74.3 percent of these services were rendered to the population.
During the reporting period, revenues from mobile communication services in Azerbaijan amounted to 800.9 million manat ($471.1 million) (35.8 percent of the total revenues of the telecommunications market).
To note, by the end of 2023, information and communication enterprises in Azerbaijan provided services worth 3.2 billion manat ($1.8 billion) (16.3 percent growth).
